Job Responsibilities
This role will support commercial, operational and business development activities to strengthen and grow Aster’s market presence in Australia and New Zealand via its local subsidiary – Aster ANZ Pty Ltd.
Sales & Operations Support
• Maintain product inventory and customer databases, support know-your-customer process.
• Update and track local freight and logistics costs.
• Contribute to the enhancement of logistics cost analysis tools.
Market Development and Analysis
• Identify potential customers and develop prospect profiles.
• Undertake market assessment and analysis activities.
• Work with sales on customer segmentation efforts.
• Build and maintain the sales pipeline for the ANZ region.
Financial & Administrative Support
• Monitor customer credit lines and assist in credit line renewal processes.
• Monitor and follow-up on customer payment performance.
• Prepare internal sales reports and business updates for management.
Job Requirements
• Candidates must have the right to work in Australia.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Science, or Engineering
• Fresh graduates with strong interest to pursue a career in B2B sales, supply chain coordination, and technical products, particularly in the chemical or polymer industries are welcome to apply as training will be provided.
• 3-5 years of related B2B work experience is an advantage.
• Strong analytical ability and excellent communication skills.
• Able to work cross functionally with sales, supply chain, logistics, and finance teams, including regional stakeholders.
• Possesses a basic understanding or interest in commercial finance topics such as credit risk, accounts receivable, and pricing/logistics cost drivers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data tools (e.g., Power BI) will be a plus.
• Able to work independently in a remote or home based environment while maintaining strong accountability for deliverables.
