Deliver/develop and maintain consistent, realistic plans and control structures for the Maintenance, projects and Pitstop, Cat Change and TA (Turnaround).

Job Responsibilities:

Maintenance Schedule

  • Manage Aster maintenance proactive and reactive jobs and coordinate integrated schedule with Production and stakeholders to produce a resource-optimized maintenance execution baseline plan. 
  • The Scheduler is responsible for integrated scheduling maintenance activities in production units including construction and non-routine maintenance. 
  • Ensure optimum contractor resource utilization via proper scheduling and resource loading. 
  • Coordinate with Operation Maintenance Coordinator (OMC), Production teams, Plant Engineers, Contractors, workshop, and other supporting functions to ensure the routine maintenance / non-routine maintenance work schedule is optimal, realistic, and executable. 
  • Rearrange the schedule of maintenance activities due to Emergency and Schedule Breaker (E & SB) priority emergence work or bundling the schedule for equipment within the same process unit/system. 

Turnaround Schedule

  • Implement TA scheduling premise document for Aster TA scheduling system/tool. 
  • Responsible for TA Event Milestone Schedule (MMS), capturing key calendar dates/milestones covering every phase of TA process.  
  • Custodian of TA Event Execution Schedule (MES), integrating all work tasks, work packages, support plans, Operation plans and activities for Aster TA events. 
  • Ensure that MMS captures all phases of TA are updated timely and accurately for review at every formal strategy, steering & planning meetings.  
  • Ensure that all MMS sub-milestone schedules utilized by TA teams, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Projects, Construction, Contractors, Specialist, services providers deployed, and pre/post-TA preparation works are synchronized at all times. 
  • Ensure accuracy and high quality of MES through sound network of activity logic/dependencies, resource loading, simultaneous operation (SIMOPS) constrains and congestions due to other works.  
  • Provide assurance for Capital Projects that are to be executed during TA are properly constructed and integrated into the TA Master Schedule.  
  • Ensure review and buy-in of the integrated TA Master Schedule with key stakeholders and contractors.  

Project Schedule

  • Understand the list of plans required to execute the assigned project sub-elements and their interface to other sub-elements.   
  • Develop the activities, logic, resources and progress for the assigned project sub-elements, leading to the creation of the baseline schedule and its subsequent maintenance. 
  • Conduct the schedule progress update, forecast, critical path and trend analyses for assigned elements, including any impact from interface areas. Provide regular and comprehensive schedule status reports to Project sub-element managers. 
  • Assess and incorporate the impact of changes and any deviations from the key project targets and milestones, including productivity monitoring and identification of alternate approaches to optimize the plan(s). 
  • Liaise with and challenge Project engineering personnel to ensure proper understanding of the key schedule sensitivities and drivers. 
  • Review and verify contractors reported progress and ensure that this is reflected in the program schedule. 
  • Responsible for managing the interfaces between Contractor and company associated required to maintain a reliable working schedule and to accurately report on the program performance.  

 

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in any Engineering Discipline
  • Relevant work experience, mainly technical support in Refinery or Petrochemical Plant. Preferably with some years in Engineering, Projects, Maintenance, Turnaround, or Operation experience. 
  • Minimum 5 years in Maintenance/Turnaround/Project coordination
  • Knowledge and application of maintenance planning tools like Primavera P3e or Open Plan, MS-Project, Excel and Access, SAP is essential.
